Dear Friend,

I am so excited to be coming to the Westbury Theatre on August 8th.
Thank you for purchasing tickets, it is going to be a great night!

The reason I am writing you today it to ask for your help. Food banks
around the country are reporting difficulties in getting food donated and keeping up with the demand due to the current state of our economy.
So, they need our help and it is really simple for us to do something.

We have partnered with Live Nation, the Westbury Theatre and Rock Can Roll to collect non-perishable food items at the show on August 8th.
So, please bring as much as you can to the concert. We will have
volunteers and bins available for you to easily drop off your donation.

If we all join together and donate, we can make a real difference for so
many families. So, please take part and donate what you can. I look

Some tickets have been donated to rock CAN roll to each of the following
concerts @ THE CAPITAL ONE BANK THEATRE AT WESTBURY :

Billy Squier – Fri, 07/24/09 @ 8:00 p.m

and

Get The Led Out – The American Led Zeppelin Sat, 07/25/09 @ 8:00 p.m

They are available on a first come (E-MAIL to: Aimee@rockCANroll.org with concert name in subject line) first serve basis. Please indicate how many tickets are requested, max 4.

We ask that everyone taking concert tickets consider making a tax
deductible donation to:
rock CAN roll at PO Box 700, Jericho, NY 11753

AND…EVERYONE MUST bring a healthy and nutritious food donation to the
show ! A list of most needed foods can be found at www.rockCANroll.org

We will confirm by email. Tickets will be available for pick up on the
day of show ( with email confirmations) at the rock CAN roll table outside the venue after 6:45p on
the day of show.

If the weather is not cooperating, tickets will be at the box office or
in the lobby with a rCr representative – food donations can be brought
to the rCr table inside the venue.

Thanks for supporting our efforts to put food into the hands of men, women and children in need!
