The North Fork Theatre at Westbury Teams Up With "rock CAN roll" To Help Beat Hunger On Long Island!

Ongoing: If you are going to any ROCK concert at The North Fork Theatre, please bring a CAN of food or non-perishable food item! rock CAN roll volunteers will be there to collect and deliver your donation!

The Dell Boys: Donated 250 pounds of food from their Bar Mitzvah!

Jeremy W.: Donated over 300 hundred pounds of food from his Bar Mitzvah!

Alana D.: Donated 100 pounds of food she collected at her Bat Mizvah!

Emily L.: Set up The Community Synagogue "rock CAN roll" as an ongoing program at their weekly services!

rock CAN roll, Inc., is a volunteer, non profit 501C-3, hunger relief organization and think tank. We are committed to helping men, women and children that live with hunger and in poverty. We match those who have, with those who need, and those who CAN!

Sister Kathy from the Our Lady of Fatima Food Pantry in Pt. Washington was delighted to meet Jeremy W. At his Bar Mitzvah, instead of huge centerpieces filled with flowers, he and his family decided to do a rock CAN roll project. They created beautiful baskets filled with food that were then donated to the rCr organization! Not only did they create the baskets, I took Jeremy along to deliver the food he and his family so generously donated. Sister Kathy wrote to Jeremy, “ Thank you, thank you, thank you….for your care and concern for those in need! You are truly a remarkable young man and a credit to your family and synagogue!!”
